Taste of Crete Participating in Taste of Home Magazine Cooking School
(PRWEB) March 9, 2006 -- Taste of Home Magazine will have one of its exciting Taste of Home Cooking School Events in the Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College on March 22 at 7pm. Cooking Enthusiasts will be treated to an evening of recipes, products and home making ideas.
Taste of Crete will be one of the exhibitors at the show, and will also be sharing recipes based on the healthy diet of Crete, one of the healthiest versions of the Mediterranean diet. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample their award winning extra virgin olive oil, their Greek Honeys and their traditional Greek cookies. There will be drawings for product prizes.
“I have always loved cooking and learning new recipes and that is partly what drove me to start Taste of Crete” states Esther Luongo Psarakis, founder of Taste of Crete.
“By participating in this event, not only do I get to learn new recipes and ideas from Taste of Home, but I get to the opportunity to share my love of foods from Crete, Greece. I married into this great culture and its healthy culinary traditions.”
Taste of Crete products are carried by a number of surrounding locations.
