Skinny Bones Productions Releases the Short Film "Greek Row"

Tucson, AZ (PRWeb) February 21, 2007 -- Skinny Bones Productions, a Tucson-based production company that gained recognition by distributing the first feature film through paid podcasting, announces the online release of the film short "Greek Row."

All hell breaks loose on a college campus when fraternities' and sororities' pranks against each other escalate into an all out war. Alex, an often stepped-on fraternity pledge, finds himself in the middle of the skirmish when he's forced to help clear a room of its weapons and other supplies. Things get deadly when a pair of Gamma Gamma Gamma sisters bring their bickering feud into the building.

"Greek Row" is a five-minute, self-standing segment from a feature-length script of the same name. Writer/director Jaz Garewal is planning on shooting the feature in its entirety once funding is secured later this year. Currently, the short film is viewable online at the "On the Lot" Web site at http://films.thelot.com/films/2881

The film was shot in HD on Sony HDCAM tape in Phoenix, Ariz. A variety of talented professionals, from gun handlers to pyrotechnic specialists, worked on the production. The shoot even had a cameo by a rat.

By tracing Western Civilization back to its beginning, philosopher Peter Kingsley discovered a profound meaning within the creation of this society: The guiding principles that started this culture are as spiritual - indeed mystical - as they are practical. But in society's quest to embrace the concepts of reason and logic created at our beginning we have forgotten the heart at the center of those fundamental and essential teachings - until now. Finding Our Ancient Wisdom brings a new perspective to our modern, hectic world by taking us back to the beginning. Join philosopher/author Peter Kingsley as he explains what this ancient wisdom is and how it can be woven into our everyday lives.
